Dizziness And Lightheadedness? Could This Have Anything To Do With My Sleeve?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

For the past 2 days i have been experiencing dizziness and lightheadedness. When i woke up this morning i almost fainted... Before i freak out and go pay $200 for a doctors visit i thought it might be wise to see if it could be related to my sleeve,

Im 6 months out and have been loosing steadily for the most part. I was naughty on monday and ate some junk food with my bestie (which is very rare) but today is friday...

maybe im low on something nutritional??

Id appreciate any advice or ideas!

Thanx

Shelly

Are you drinking your 64oz of Water a day. You may be dehydrated. Sip sip sip and make sure you're getting enough fluids. If your urine is dark that's probably it. Be careful and CALL the doctor. You don't have to pay for a call.

hey hun,

I have been dizzy for the last week on my pre op and my nurse informed me it is not enough carbs... apparently a fine line between low carb and too low carb...so two things she said to do..one: eat someone with sugar....and two: gaterade because your electro lights are down...

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
