I am finding all the sweet shakes a bit much on full liquids so I made a tzatziki inspired lassi shake which is pretty good and has 30g Protein. This is going down MUCH easier...

1 small tub of Fage 0% yogurt (10g protein)

1 scoop GNC whey unflavoured Protein powder (20g protein)

A teaspoon of Lea and Perrins cook's helper add-in garlic paste

Mint leaves

Quarter of a cucumber- deskinned.

Thin slightly with Water.< /p>

A squeeze of lime.

Salt to taste.

Puree in blender.

Smoggy, I've lived in several foreign countries and know what a lassi is, I also know that cooks helper is not something common in the US. I have a feeling you are going to have to explain your concoction a bit more.

FYI it sounds wonderful to me though.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Folks, a lassi is a pureed yoghurt-based drink comon in India, it can be sweetened with fruit or salted and spiced and herbs added. It is often used as a palate refresher with spicy curries.

Tzatziki is a Greek salad made with chopped or grated cucumber, mint, Greek yoghurt and sometimes lemon. You could use lemon here too but I love lime.

Cooks helper garlic is a product that is basically liquefied garlic (with a bit of sunflower oil) and a smooth garlic paste is a good replacement.

Anyway I kind of mixed the Greek and Indian components together to get a savoury garlicky minty cucumbery drink. It is pretty darn YUM.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
