Wheezy Whispers-AKA September's Goals

Recommended Posts

Yes Mandi, you will need one more fill. When you have lost sooooo much weight, and are soooo petite and tiny, and your band is almost hanging off your stomache, you'll need one more fill. You know, for the last 3-5 lbs!!!

Argon, Glad to hear that it will be easier for you. I couldn't believe you had to travel so far and I was complaining of a measly 6 hour drive

I'm going for 8lbs for Sept. too! I just put an offer on a house in Chilliwack BC today, wish me luck!!!! I'm tired of living in an RV! LOL - travelling all over Canada was nice, but I'm ready for a real home again.

Ok, put me down for the 8 lb club as well. That seems like a nice and achievable goal.

Leila, my husband and I lived and travelled across country for six months in our pickup truck with a plywood canopy on the back. It was in our carefree youth in the early '70's. I loved it though I wouldn't care to do that now. We still get itchy feet occasionally, though, and want to pack up and move somewhere totally different. We did that often until we had a child so now we're staying put while he's in school. (It's also hell on business to start from scratch every few years.)

Good luck with your house offer.

I weigh myself evey Wednesday. I just had to do it, punish myself. I was feeling bloated and yucky so what do I do. I confirmed it with the scale. I gained 2 lbs!!!! Now I am digusted with myself. This is why they say to only weigh yourself once a week.:D:) :) :) :) :):D:o

Oh yes, Happy fricken Labour Day everyone.

Well 3 days into September, and I have already exercised twice. Yeah!

I live along the St Lawrence River. We have beautiful parks all around us and a 50 Km bike path. I have been walking on the bike path and since the weather hasn't been the greatest, there are hardly any people around. All the parks close after Labour day so after today there will be no one around.

No excuses not to exercise!!!

The strangest thing just happened to me. I was playing with the text at glittermaker.com and a picture of a very scary guy popped up. The word Hacked was above his head and other writing that was not in English. Very CREEPY!!!!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
