Awesome list. The only thing i'll add: having to shift my weight from one hip to the next (in order to give my knees a break) when standing for any amount of time.

Omg....especially the part about being smothered by your boobs. I swear it is like that for me in every single way but the boob smothering is my #1. I dread lying down for bed every single night BC of that

Funny, sad, but true!!! I am printing this list and placing on my mirror. Having my wls on June 29th. Getting very excited.....and staying calm about it because the benefits out weigh the risks!!!!!

I've had more than one "shallow Hal" moment with cheap lawn furniture, sometimes not so cheap furniture....I won't miss that.

I've already noticed the "going to the bathroom" part is easier after losing 50 pounds. Not so much the going, but the .....uh....cleaning afterward.

I am totally with you! About two years ago we went to the amusement park where my parents live and I couldn't fit on my favorite roller coaster. I was so embarrassed. That is definitely going to be a non-scale victory for me when I start losing weight.

Yup, I no longer am smothered by my boobs. Down 78 pounds since I had my first pre-op visit. Down 41 since April 9. Surgery was so worth it. Best of luck to all of you. See you on the losers bench!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
