I was sleeved on the 25th also. But I'm definitely not talkin 2 miles a day! lol I was told to wait until 2 weeks post-op for anything that intense. To me, if I sweat, it's working out! (Although, it's 100 degrees in Ohio so I guess walking to my car is working out. :) ) Prior to surgery I was doing about 8-9 miles a week. I hope to get back there soon; I'm just still dealing with serious fatigue and sleepiness.

I only have been walking using my fitbit about 3800 steps is a 1.5 miles so if you wear a pedometer that's how i keep track..... just take more and more steps that's the key

When I get low blood sugar I drink a cup of skim milk and it brings it right back quickly. It's liquid and it has enough carbs and it has Protein so I get extra protein in.

Sleeved on June 6th. At 9 days out I was down 16.7 pounds (yay). But now at 4 weeks I am only down an additional 10 for a total if 26.7. I guess I had it in my head that it would be more so a little disappointed. I know I can do better on my Water intake...any other suggestions to pick it up a little?

For all of you that have lost 1 or more pounds a day and are disappointed that you have not lost more weight...ask yourself when the last time was that you ever lost so quickly! I am 4 weeks out and have only lost 10 pounds. However, that is 2 pounds a week, a healthy expectation. Hopefully I will not have any stalls since I have been slow and steady. But seriously, you are making ME concerned with my slow weight loss and I am still on liquids!

Hi! Sleeved June 26 in Melbourne Australia.

I've lost 4 kilos which is about 10 lbs, but I'm not worries about weightloss yet. A well healed body is what I want.

I just started puréed food yesterday with pumpkin Soup and roast beef purée (not at the same time)

Still taking 3 resource anyway to make sure I keep the Protein up.

Trying harder with Water now that I'm on purée.

Is the Facebook group private? Because not everyone on my current Facebook knows that I had the surgery, was just wondering before I look it up.

Yes, it is a private (secret) group. No one can see anything you post in it unless they are a member.

I second that. Post from it were showing up on my wall and I had a mini freak out. I figured out only I could see it. I thought I'd FYI you on that as I've seen others question it.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
