Able To Eat More Over Night?!

I am almost 3 weeks post-op and since the surgery, have not been able to eat more than 1/2 a cup during a given period of time. Today, however, I ate a cup of soft food for breakfast and a cup of food for lunch...effortlessly! Am I losing my mind....or is this normal??

some foods go down much easier than others for me. somedays I can eat a whole cup of food withput any effort and others I can barely get 500 calories in for the day. last night I had 2 oz. of talapia and some zucchini and I coulnt finish it. to me it is how dense the protein is. Make sure you are not drinking and eating at the same time

For me, it depends on how much protein is in what I am eating. If there is a lot of protein, I can't eat as much. I can eat a lot more of foods that don't have a lot of protein. So I can eat a cup of pudding or jello, but I can't eat 4 ounces of chicken.

Yup- can eat, drink lots of soups, yogurts, protein shakes (up to 8oz in 30 min) but need to stop at 3oz of deli meat.

I find anything that is drip-able, smooshable or needs a lid... I can have lots more of!
