I lost 2.5 pounds during this challenge instead of the 5 I was hoping for. Its okay, a loss is a loss. I am so close to goal it is going to take a while to get there because the closer you get the harder it is. Im okay with that as long as I am losing. See ya the next challenge.

OK, I'm in too. I think I need a little inspiration.

I will put myself in for 10 lbs. and upping my exercise to 5 days a week from 3.

Starting at 285.9 (hey those decimals are important! ;) )

July 4th Challenge weight goal: 275

So, that would be 10.9 pounds

Well, I lost 9 of the 10.9 I wanted to lose by today, and I DID achieve the 5 day/week workout schedule, so all in all I think this was a success! Sure, i missed the mark a little, but I really did all I humanly could to get there. Good job everyone.

Brandymarie, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. :( Praying for your comfort.

Well didn't do as well as I'd like currently 643.

But okay I guess since I'm 18 hours pre sleeve.

Well since being sleeved monday morning I've lost about 20 pounds, I think it was from the saline solution iv plus having catheter, lost a lot of Water weight. But have been walking some and only eating 100 or 200 calories a day. Plus how ever much half a stomach weighs lol.

I was 645 monday, now scale says 619.

I didn't make my goal of 15. I'm down 11 pounds. I was so close. I had two stalls during this challenge. I'm going to try harder for the labor day challenge.

Ha! So I saw your post and decided to weigh this morning and I weighed in at 189.8. My goal was 190 and yesterday I weighed in at 190.4 and missed it by 4 lousy ounces. Maybe we'll kick butt in the labor day challenge and actually make goal by labor day and not the day after. Lol! Good luck to us!!!!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
