August Sleevers?! Where Ya's At?

Recommended Posts

I've got 32 days to go and i think i'm becoming obsessed. I have made the decision to no tell anyone, only hubby, kids know. Last night i had a dream that a cousin of mine, that i rarely speak to, called me and needed to talk to me. She came to my house to tell me she was have the sleeve done. Mind you, she is at most 10lbs over and probably wears a size 8, never been overweight and was back in her jeans in a month after having kids. She told me she didn't want me to be jealous, so she was telling me herself. She said the Dr agreed to do it so she didn't get fat.

AArrr!!! woke up in a funk!! I know I'm doing the right thing, but i hope this kind of thing doesn't continue. Could make for a long month.

i believe we all go through these different dreams and worry, it seems to be normal....its a big change in our lives.

I have choose to only tell a handful of people mostly my husband, kids and there spouses...I dont want or need any of the negative or judgmental talk about this...I am working at trying to stay very positive and work hard at this....its a roller coaster of feelings but there is a great supportive group here thats all going through it also

Could you add me to the FB group? Thanks!

I need your name there or also try my direct link here and add as friends so I can add you.http://www.facebook.com/klyn.mcmickell

It is a secret group so no one can tell your in the group or see what you post or comment on, here is what Facebook says,

This is set for a secret group, so that helps for all not wanting information out and just for here. This is the description of the different kinds of groups,

What are the privacy options for groups?

When you create a group, you can choose who can see the group and the things people post there, including comments, photos and files uploaded to the group. The three privacy options you have are:

Open: Anyone on Facebook can see and join the group. Open groups will appear in search results and all content that members post (ex: photos, videos and files) is visible to anyone viewing the group. Friends can see that you've joined an open group in their news feed.

Closed: Anyone on Facebook can see the group name, its members and people invited to join the group, but only members can see posts in the group. To join a closed group, a friend needs to add you, or you can ask to join. Your friends can see that you've been invited or added to a closed group in their news feed.

Secret: These groups cannot be found in searches, and non-members can’t see anything about the group, including its name and member list. The name of the group will not display on the profiles (timelines) of members. To join a secret group, you need to be added by a member of the group.

We are trying to make sure all that wants added to the FB gets add, it is a little process where its secret but add me or futerskinnypants send a message and we will work on it if we have missed someone that wants on it

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
