Small Blenders/smoothy Maker

Recommended Posts

Since I travel for my work at least 4 days a week I am looking for a small blender or smoothy maker that will fit in the checked bag. Any one have any suggestions?

The Magic Bullet is perfect for such a situation! It is half the price on Amazon.com, as I've seen it in the stores. Love mine. :)

NINJA, available at Walmart and the one I bought here in Oregon was $39 with two size pitchers. One about the size of a small chopper. This thing in wonderful, I have used the majic bullet and hated it. The power of the ninja is great and it takes only seconds to get things nice and chopped/blended.

if you have a costco membership or know someone who does they have the 20+ piece for the magic bullet with their monthly coupon! Here in Texas I paid ~$35 plus taxes for it, it comes with two take along mugs (along with sipping lids) as well as many other things. I am going to buy me another one to keep at school. It works great! I tried the Bella one from Target too but its not as good so I am taking it back.

I have the magic bullet specifically for travel and work. I use the Kitchen ninja at home (my favorite) but the bullet does a great job too

Thank you so much for the suggestions. Isn't America great to offer so many types! It may come down to what is the lightest since it must be carried in a suitcase. Perhaps the Mother's Day angel will decide for me!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
