Energy Eater!

I struggle with fatigue. I have been one of those eaters that gets caught up in that carbohydrate cycle to keep me going (inevitably to be defeated in the end) I was wondering if anyone else out there struggles with this. I have a very busy life, so I have a right to be tired. I'm on my feet just about all day, and I have been trying to prepare myself for this surgery with the smaller portions, chewing, drinking a lot of water, yadda, yadda, but I am finding that when I cave in to the food for reasons to do with my energy level. I just give into that quick fix of sugar energy to keep me going. I also wonder if anyone out there that had similar eating patterns had better success after surgery when they had more stamina and energy (Which is what I hear you have more of as the weight starts to come off). The day is approaching and I am feeling a little disappointed in myself because I lack the self control when I feel like I'm going to collapse and I have the kids to take care of, dinner to get ready, baths, cleaning up the house, my work, etc. Does it get easier post sleeve?
