I am feeling great! Still struggling to get all my liquids in between meals, but doing great with my Protein. I had a long stall, but increased my calories to about 1000 and started losing again. I am trying to do 4 to 5 meals a day to get my protein and calories in. I had trouble with getting my protein with 3 meals a day so my doctor said it was fine to do 5 small meals, so much easier! My clothes are getting so baggy, it is awesome.

I was sleeved on 2/13/12, have lost a total of 32 lbs (including pre-op diet), I am eating about 1100 calories a day (trying to get in that 70 gms of protein!), and feeling pretty dang good. I have to start moving more. I have been so sedentary for so long I think I have forgotten how to be otherwise!

I did a scary thing yesterday - I ordered summer clothes online in two sizes smaller than I am now. We are going to Florida in July (which is also insane) and I needed to get some clothes, but I didn't want to buy clothes that fit me now. I think this is called "counting your chicks before they're hatched" :-)

I was thinking if getting some goal clothes for my July vacation too! We can count those chicks together.

My clothes are so baggy now you cant tell I lost anything.

I am glad everyone is doing great. I too have ordered smaller clothes hoping they will fit. Has anyone stalled yet? What are your favorite food?

oh yeah, I had a month long stall. I think I'm going to be one of those "stall, lose, stall, lose" step-method of weight loss people. Frustrating but to be ignored ;-)

Favorite food: lamb - ground or chops or roasted with mint/apple jelly .

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
