I can't wait to hear the answer!!! My NUT told me I could eat sushi at 6 weeks, it's considered a salad...I'm 5 weeks tomorrow...my nurse told me that sushi would definitely be a good food to eat, however I am terrified of vomiting & sliming!

My doc said I have to wait 8 weeks.. Ive eaten seated ahi tuna but am waiting the 8 weeks because I am not supposed to have rice or raw veggies until week 8 .

My doctor told me even if you are cleared for rice, eat slowly since sushi rice could possibly get stuck or swell. Tried it, sbut snce my surgery don't have a taste for it anymore!
