I applied to my credit union and not only are they going to give me 6,000 for the procedure they are going to give me 4,000 more to help pay off my credit cards and my payment is only going to be 230.00 i can't beleive it.. i prayed to god last night to please help me through this so i can be a better mom and wife and praise the lord it really happened... Now to nail down a date in april or may.. .anyone going to see Dr. Kelly in those months? That's who i'm going to.. so happy i've only been hoping and researching since last January!!

I am hoping to be sleeved by Dr Kelly & may request for late April or early May, but no date yet.

I just had tonsillectomy & uvullectomy yesterday, so recovering from that, before I book another surgery!

Thanks Diva you have always been an inspiration...I've been a lurker on these boards mostly because i felt i had nothing to contribute until i really knew i could actually finance the surgery. I can't wait for my life to change... I spent last night on obesityhelp for over an hour and a half looking through all the before and after photo's and it's so true that every picture i saw the after there was that spark and that smile and confidence that shown through that all of us overweight people have in us. I can't wait to have my before and after... !!!!!!!!!

Sharon hope your recover goes well from your surgeries Maybe if it works out we can be sleeve sisters... my hubby will be coming with me although i keep telling him that he really doesn't have to come, he insists, not that i blame him if it were him going to a foreign country i wouldn't ever let him go alone :-) Dr. Kelly from all my research is my number one choice..No. 2 would have been DR. Aceves because of all the rave revues.. but i can't spend that much and feel just as confident with kelly.

Now i've really got to get in here and research alot since it's really happening and soon.. yipeee!!!

Yes they have so much better rates... glad i didn't go with that online financing place they were just ridiculous!!!!! So excited just told my mom and she was so happy for me it's nice to get that positive support from your familly!!
