Some Sort Of Bug - Making Me Feel Like I Am Starving

Ugh - I am so frustrated because I have picked up some sort of bug. I am not sure if it is a cold or the flu coming on or what, but I have that feeling in my throat and an insatiable hunger feeling in my gut. I am trying to just eat small amounts at a time, but this is driving me nuts. I have actually gained two pounds.

On top of that, I have been told not to exert myself until my cardiac stress test, which is tomorrow. I have gone almost a week without substantial exercise.

I know things will get back on track when I feel better and when I can exercise again, but it is a terrible and familiar feeling to be making progress and then have something come along and mess it up. It is usually at times like this when, prior to surgery, I would go off a diet and gain again.

I can't wait to get over all this so that I can get back on track. I was mostly uninterested in food for a while, and now I am just ravenous.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
