Dr. Nick performed my sleeve surgery on 1/24. He is incredibly nice and patient, answering all of my questions thoroughly. I've also never met better office staff in my life. Calls and e-mails are returned right away. I even had a patient care coordinator call me back on a Saturday afternoon on her cell phone, and this was just with questions that I had before I had even decided to go forward with my surgery.

In a nutshell, I am very happy with my choice. My surgery went well, and even though I live out of state their follow-up has been great.

I hope that this helps! If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask :-)

A couple of friends used him and were very happy. I considered changing to him after talking with friends, but didn't. My PCP recommended Dr. Cribbins and I am very happy with my choice (and highly recommend), but Dr. Nicholson has excellent feedback from people I know.

Dr. Nick completed my surgery on 1-23-12. He and his entire team are awesome. Zero complications. I wrote him a glowing review on OH.

I was sleeved by Dr Nick on Oct 17, 2011. All went well and the care I have received has been top notch. Good luck to you!

I was sleeved by Dr Nick on 1/24/2012. Completely satisfied. Answered all of my questions and spent as much time with me as I needed and wasn't in a rush.

Amanda, which hospital did you use? Dr. Cribbins is my dr. and I'm trying to decide between Presbyterian Plano and Baylor in Frisco.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
