Im out day 4 now..feeling good. I find it very hard to get all my protien in, do you guys feel that way too? Im constantly sip sip sip all day. Any liquids I have I mix in a few spoonfuls of Isopure. The only pain I can complain about is the hole where they took the stomach out of. Lots or bruising and tenderness but I take my pain meds as needed and take small walks and catnaps during the day. This new "full" feeling is something to get used to. Mentally-to only drink a few ounces at a time and feel so full you may burst is weird to get around. I can start my full liquids next week, very excited for that. Does it bother you to see people that live in your house eat normal foods? I can honestly say it doesnt bother me at all! Im sure that may change in time.

Anyway..thanks for letting me tell my story!

You guys are an inspiration! Keep up the good work all you LOSERS!! (losers meaning weight loss losers! lol)

yep I still am having trouble and it has been over a week.. just keep sipping... I cant even get in 25 grams of Protein in yet or 30 oz of Fluid. I had to backtrack from my soft stage back to liquids I was having so much difficulty. good luck, it will get easier

I am four days out too. I am having trouble getting the liquid and Protein in each day. I have been able to take long walks though. Best wishes on your journey.

I'm almost 7 wks out and the first 2 weeks where rough.. it gets better and I never cared to see anyone eat around me. My mother came to help me at day 3 and see was worried to eat around me and it really did not bother me at all.. It's weird to not be hungry but now I do get hungry and when I eat I'm full very fast!! That is kind of a strange feeling also.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
