I Still Want My "beyonce"

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies!! I am still early on in my journey. When I was in undergrad I had an amazing shape including a nice butt! In your experience, when you lose weight, does your butt/curves go too?

Yep. I lost my boobs and my butt. Both now look deflated to me. Sorry. :(

Hated both of those assets. So in 2000 I chopped off the boobs and with the WLS they lost more (thank God) but the booty remains a nightmare. . . Not as nightmarish as it was at 350lbs though. . . .lol Good luck!

So far everything is still intact. I am losing weight in the right areas. My only concern is a little bit of bat wings on my arm but then again I have not been exercising. I still have my ciappa.gif

I have always been a relatively curvy girl, but my butt did get flatter with weight loss. I have NOT lost any in my bra cup size (band size YES, cup size is still a DD!!)

Having a good bra really helps, but I feel like I'm still fairly curvy. Also I'm not at goal yet, still have another -20lbs or so to go and not sure what the boobs and butt will look like in another -20!

I can, however, tell you that absolutely I will take a loss in curves to lose the weight!!! I do NOT want the weight back for anything!!

Send me a PM if you want some photos (NOT racy, but you can see my curves, etc.)

I was not a particularly buxom woman prior to WLS (barely a D) and now I am somewhere in the B+/C- range. My butt is as flat as a pancake - but even 100 pounds ago it was not anywhere in Beyonce or JLo's family.

My shape is basically the same as it was before, only smaller. I gained weight all over my body and I lost it the same way.

your butt might get smaller but start working on the lunges, squats, run the stairs, that will firm you up so even if you get smaller you will still have a nice size and shape. I am losing my butt too. i sleep on my tummy and my husband curled up to me and propped his leg on my butt, he said "hun you are losing your butt, my leg used to be higher up than this" hhaaahaaa. i love my boobies as much as he does so if they start leaving at an alarming rate i will buy some new ones.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
