"unmentionables" Nsv!

Recommended Posts

The week after Christmas I went into Aerie and bought an adorable pair of boy cut underwear with blue buttons and anchors. It was the first pair of panties that didn't come in a value pack that I have bought since I got pregnant with my first child 23 1/2 years ago. Wahoo!!! I call them my "pretty girl panties."

I never know which kind to buy. I find the boy cut ones wad up . I have a lot of pairs of panties that I bought that I found uncomfortable. I am not sure how they wear those thongs. Don't those go up your butt?

I would like some feedback here on which panties cut/brand ladies don't feel like they are getting a wedgie while wearing, or if they have a tummy, does it feel weird hanging over the top if they wear the hipsters or bikini?

Lol, maybe this should be moved to the girl's powder room...

The pants sound super cute, lkcraig! -- congrats!!

Daisy -- I've been having pants problems as well, have tried SO MANY of them -- money down the pan for the most part. Ugh. One kind I do love is Marks and Spencer's "midi" hipsters, in either microfiber or 100% cotton (don't know if they ship to the US?). The other one I love is Soma's Vanishing Edge hipster in microfiber as well -- sounds weird, but they have these silicone strips that hold them in place and they DO. NOT. CRAWL. up your booty LOL. They also have no VPL under trousers, which I love. They're not cheap, but I have found some on eBay and also they do a 7 for $35 sale a couple times a year.

Yay, that is awesome! I am not too particular on panty styles, but I enjoy staying away from granny panties. Also, I will not, under any circumstance wear a thong. I have no desire to indulge in a self-induced wedgie, thank you very much!

Yay!! After so many years buying all of my intimates at Lane Bryant, I am having to venture out. It's really hard to know what to buy. I did get a Victoria's Secrets gift card for Christmas. I can't wait.

@oregondaisy - Try Warner's All Day Fit - No Wedgie Hipster, they seem to be my favorite so far. I found them at some of the larger department stores here in the south for around 3/$25 on sale. And don't laugh, but my local Sam's club carries them for 3/$12, definitely worth the risk, if you are not sure if you like them.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
