Wow, awesome photo comparison!! You do look so much younger!!

I have a turkey wattle neck now, but overall I'm not as scared by increased wrinkles/sag as I thought I would be. smile.gif

You look phenomenal ! ! ! I'm super jealous. At 34, I have way more wrinkles than I ever had when fat. I know that my years of smoking has contributed to my lines and wrinkles, and that the damage is done. Thank goodness for botox ! ! !

You not only lost weight, you lost 15 years ! ! !

Your pictures made my day! I'm almost 36 and having VSG after the first of the year. I've been nervous that I'd look more wrinkly but you so do not! You look awesome and way younger too! Great job!

Well I am 55 and post menopausal and I have been having some issues with wrinkles, especially in the neck area. I had a conversation with my brother the other day and he said he knows a number of people who had the surgery and when they first lost the weight, they looked somewhat drawn, but that after a while things seem to redistribute and their faces fill in again.

That was encouraging!

That would be nice! I am 58 and have WAY more wrinkles than before... but thats the up side of being fat! I am using all kinds of peals and creams... as long as it doesn't fall off, I guess I can live with it!

After studying before and after face pictures of so many other people' date=' I secretly wondered, if after losing the weight if I would feel like my nose was too big or my eyes would be enormormous, or suddenly I would have massive wrinkles where fat once was. So I was pleasantly surprised with my little comparison. More evidence that when you gain weight it affects every part of your body!! Amazing isn't it?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
