Financing for Plastics

Recommended Posts

So I've gone to a couple of plastic surgeons for consults and one Dr I was really really impressed with. He was actually really impressed with me as well. He stated that a full on Tummy Tuck might not be necessary because my abs are solid. I guess with tummy tucks they also do some Lipo but he told me I have no fat to lipo, even though another Dr wanted to lipo and I was wondering where and what she was going to suck out. I'm very bony just have excess skin hanging in the tummy area and my tatas have so south and not just for the winter. I was a 42 DDD to a 42 F depending on where I purchased my bras and now I'm a sagging 36C. My main priority right now is getting my girls back.

I've seen where people are getting financed for the sleeve surgery and would that financing go towards plastics too and who did you go through. I tried Care Credit through the Dr's office and got denied.

Any help with insurance covering this or financing would be greatly appricated

I think I have read some posts where some DRs can get any procedure covered by insurance. But most can't or won't. I think if you can get your insurance to pay for a panni, due to rashes and such, you can just pay the difference to get the full Tummy Tuck. That is what I plan to do if I really need one in the end.

My sleeve was finance through Mysurgeryloans.com give them a try it seems like they work with all types of credit if you're willing to pay the high interest rate. Good luck getting the girls back. I will get mine done too as soon as I reach my goal.

Thank u,

I see my WL surgeon on Thursday and his nurse who is the greatest said she's going to try and get primary care Dr on board to say it's medically necessary. My primary Dr won't do anyhting I suggest unless it's brought up by another Dr, he's very irritating on that aspect.

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
