extreme pain under drain tube site. 2 weeks post op yesterday.

OK, I am a little worried about the pain I am still having . I called the doctor's office yesterday and was told by the nurse to try ibuprofen and if I don't feel better by mid week, to call back. Does anyone have severe, sharp pain underneath their drain tube site. I have no signs of infection and have kept very good care of the area. In fact, the nurse told me to to quit doing so much to the site and just apply neosporin once a day.
I am weeks post op.
Thanks for any advice!
