You did the smart thing by posting and getting the right encouragement from the girls on here.

You have done so well - congratulations - I like beer myself - but even pre op - I have to only have it very very occasionally - makes us puffy and give us a beer belly biggrin.gif

Congratulations!

Such a huge difference!!! You are doing awesome even if you have weak moments. You are human and just because you had VSG surgery doesn't make you super human! We all want to be "normal" again we just have to choose when to splurge and when not to. I agree with MeMeMeee save it for special occasions! Good luck and congrats on your progress this far! :)

Amazing Transformation!! I am so happy for you! Don't let those nasty cravings run your life. You are in charge. You decide when , if and how much to eat or drink. You and your sleeve are partners to reach your goal of health and happiness. Have a beer...once in a while and enjoy it to the max! Once in a while!

Living the dream!,

Laura

Thank you all so much. It's nice to hear such great things. I still see the girl in the first picture when I look in the mirror. But the pictures speak for themselves. Im going to post more!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
