I was still winded and tired at 3 weeks. And I still had incision pain. Everyone's timeline for feeling better is different. I am FREAKIN tired today. I am almost 6 weeks out. It is ok. I am sure everything will get to a good place eventually.

Thanks to everyone for the replies..@Yellow Rose I have the same sinus issue going on and so does one of the ladies that was at the Recovery House with us..so not sure what's going on but it's 3 of us like this. I understand I'll have good & bad days but I'm guessing since I had so many issues after the surgery could be why it's taking it's toll on me. My drain tube incision kept opening up to but all of my incisions were so infected that I had to go back through surgery for removal of the stitches & irrigation of the incisions..it was pretty bad! But I think I'll be making a trip to see my dr just to see what things are looking like..might be some type of Vitamin issue..I'll keep everyone posted & thanks to all for the support!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
