Is it gas or heartburn?

Two days ago I noticed while I was sleep I was getting heartburn, I guess... in the morning I had this pain in my lower neck on the left side close to my shoulder. Has anyone had this feeling before? I'm post -op 14 days. I also had the fuzzy sound coming for my stomach.
