When your Problems Seem too Big to Handle

How cool is that?! You really have to look at the pics 1-2-3 in order. Great effect. My jaw dropped! I can't wait to show these to my Dad. He's an amateur astronomer and can really appreciate pics like these. Thanks! I feel so small! LOL

Great.... now on top of my fears and troubles and woes I also feel really tiny and insignificant. Good going.

:) LOL cool pics!

Now that you feel Tiny, you won't need the Lap-Band. Right?:):faint:

Genesis 1,1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

I guess God did NOT have much material left to work with when he created the Earth.:):)

One of my favorite things to do is go downtown (Chicago) and walk or ride my bike down Michigan Ave (the big main drag for shopping and such). When all the stores are closed and the windows are dimmed, I love to get on the median and look up, buildings in every direction. It really puts things into prespective. Makes me feel small, and the world seems so big. I am from a small town down south and I guess I just never get used to the hugeness of the city around me. ~Mandy

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
