At first glance I thought it was a picture of Paige Davis from TLC's Trading Spaces!

Quite cute.

I vote you use this as your new profile pic!

Tiff, you look awesome... I got sleeved last tuesday. the worst part was the nausea.. I haven't even had to take any pain meds.. I got home from the hospital at 8pm and at 4:30 in the morning I got that dreaded call that no one should ever get... My younger brother passed away suddenly.. I am so worried about getting thru this along with following the rules of post op correctly... Yesterday, I only had one Protein shake because I have so upset.. I don't want to sabatage my recovery after all that I have been thru to get this surgery.. Wish me luck... Right now my mind is all over the place,,, thanks for listening...

O My Gosh, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. The fact that you are still trying to get your shakes in is amazing. I just said a prayer for you. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. It is extremely hard not to just let yourself go in times of sorrow. I pray for peace and comfort for you at this time that you will not feel the need to eat to fill you pain. Once again please let us know how your doing.

thanks all for the kind words.. I went to the doc yesterday and he said I was doing fine... although only 6 days out..I thought he maybe would take the drain out.. I didn't want to go thru this funeral with this nuisance hanging around my belly but he said, not yet.. lets do it friday..just to be safe.. Wel, I trust him, he knows best but so disapointing.. I can start full liquids now, creamed Soups and yogurt.. much of a relief.. I try to get my Protein shakes in but so sick of it already.. wish I can put a banana in it .. but I better not yet,, I have come to far to have any problems..

Tiff, you are really an inspiration to me... keep up the good work...

Tiffany, You look wonderful....you have been my inspiration since I began this journey. I know exactly how you feel. The clothes...it is amazing. I am in a size 8 jeans and they're a little big. I think I can buy a 6 just this past couple of weeks. My tops are a M and depending on the brand, I have gotten a S recently. Never in my life could I imagine in my wildest dreams...and I'm 51, so you have a long time to have a blast buying those fun, fabulous clothes!!! You keep us all informed, up-to-date and entertained. Thanks!!

Thank you all sooooooooooooooooooooo very much ! ! !

Beware of bananas, I thought they'd be fine, but it was either my nurse or dietitian that told me about the little seeds in them. We have staples in our tummy after surgery

and the reason for liquids is to put no stress on the staple line...and we want to make double sure nothing gets stuck in the staples. Yikes!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
