Your favorite banded breakfast.....

Recommended Posts

I can't each much, usually a shake or very runny grits with a slice of ff cheese stirred in. I usually don't loosen up until late afernoon. Although i do love crunchy stuff. Like whole wheat crackers. they are my friend since I've had the band!

Don't know why I didn't do this MONTHS AGO!

I am drinking my breakfast this morning. 1/2 cup frozen blueberries and 1/2 banana, all mixed up in a blender with 1 cup milk. I don't eat much fruit so this is a good way to get my fruit in.

I also have a juicer. I might drink 3 carrots later.

YUMMY and lots of Vitamins........drinking slowly of course.

Kity - your Protein drink sounds yummy and a lot like I make mine, except, I add cottage cheese to my Protein Drink.

For Bfast I eat the one of the following:

Protein Drink made with (vanilla whey Protein powder, 1/4 cup cottage cheese, few strawberries, blue berries, and 1/2 small container of SF yogurt) mix it all in a magic bullet and add a few ice chips. YUMMY

Or

sometimes I just have some coffee & SF cream

OR

cottage cheese mixed with some fresh berries or yogurt

Every now and then, I splurge for an everything Omlet at my works cafeteria (the Omlet last me 3 days).

I'm pretty simple and eat the same things for breafast pretty much daily these days. It seems to work for me.

1/2 cup of egg whites 60 cals. Some green pepper chopped and a slice of fake cheese which is only 25 cals. Sometimes I add 2 or 3 slices of turkey bacon.

If I don't have that its a yogurt.

I make my own Protein drink for Breakfast every morning:

2 oz ff organic vanilla yogurt

4-6oz frozen berries

1 T flaxseed oil

1 scoop soy vanilla Protein Powder

1 scoop perfect food greens

4-6oz orange juice

blend.

deeeelicious!

If I'm in a hurry, then I grab a bottle of Odwalla chocolate Protein drink. I keep a stash of them on hand for the 1-2 days a week that I need to dash out the door.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
