4 days post op

I was sleeved on Monday, and besides the night of had no real pain. Glad to see the shoulder wasn't just me...4 days out and I still have a lil discomfort in my left shoulder, but I've had none of the nausea issues and all in all feel pretty good. How long afterwards was it when any of you first started to notice changes in your clothes or weight?

Do pain meds help with the shoulder/gas pain?

I am also four days out, but I guess I'm one of the "not so lucky" as I've had quite a bit of pain near the main incision site. Today does seem to be better as I don't mind typing on the computer. I haven't had enough liquids or Protein as of yet, but I'm setting a goal today. I've had a bit of nausea, and I feel every sip that goes down. It sorta blows up, gurgles, and then I burp.

Think of it as a small price we pay to achieve something big in future. I kept thinking that the little pain which I had , is it really as bad as the pain and discomfort I have suffering for so many years due to my weight issues !! And the obvious answer was NO !! The pain was very much bearable !!
