Hi people just want to give an update. I had the surgery in Costa Rica..i live here now. Everything went smoothly although i was surprised at the extreme discomfort thereafter. Im not sure if its the same for everyone but the first 2 days were like torture. Apparently the CO2 they pump you up with for laprascopic surgery, has a very slow exit strategy! The gas is in your cavity and not the bowels so you kinda have to walk it off. At forst i wish i hadnt done the surgery but by the forth day, i am happy and have lost more than 10 pounds! Now i need to get used to sipping on fluids like a baby all day. In order to get at least 1.5 liters of water you need to take sips morning noon and night...takes a lot of getting used to.
I will keep you guys posted and thanks for the pre- advice !
