I just added a bit of melted cheese in my broth and experienced tremendous pain in my chest..finally relieved an hour later after i threw up. Hope your doing well!

  15. My doctor told me that there is some enzyme or something?? That increases after surgery, he said they still haven't discovered why. I inquired that isnt it just the fewer intake of calories and he insisted they discovered the metabolism speeds up...Any one hear of this?
  16. I guess its different for everyone, i never had nausia but the left shoulder was deadly. It did pass after about 4 days. In retrospect i think its a small price.
  17. Dont worry, im 6 days out and feel like a million bucks! I had an abnormal amount of air left in me. Its more like a big discomfort..Besides i dont think many people get it as bad as i did. No worries, life is good!
  18. Hi..i was wondering what would be the best time to take all my vitamis. I do 2 grams of Omega 3, 1 gram of Vitamin C, Niacin, a daily vitamin and a few others. I have read absorption depends on may variables such as liquid intake prior or after, lying down etc..All too complicated! Is there someone familiar with the best time to insure my vitamins are being absorbed 100% by my body? Thanks..oh and when can i start, i am 6 days post op on clear liquids...can someone suggest a good protien source? Im worried about losing muscle mass.
  19. Thanks..i hope so:)
  20. Hi people just want to give an update. I had the surgery in Costa Rica..i live here now. Everything went smoothly although i was surprised at the extreme discomfort thereafter. Im not sure if its the same for everyone but the first 2 days were like torture. Apparently the CO2 they pump you up with for laprascopic surgery, has a very slow exit strategy! The gas is in your cavity and not the bowels so you kinda have to walk it off. At forst i wish i hadnt done the surgery but by the forth day, i am happy and have lost more than 10 pounds! Now i need to get used to sipping on fluids like a baby all day. In order to get at least 1.5 liters of water you need to take sips morning noon and night...takes a lot of getting used to. I will keep you guys posted and thanks for the pre- advice !
  21. I chose a top clinic and paid around 11K including all the blood work, therapist etc. Send me your email and i can help you out
  22. Here in Costa Rica they do not put you liqued only pre surgery. Said it is too stressful and hasn't been a major factor in the past. Do i just stop 12 hours before? Thanks
