Will the cough go away?

I was banded 9/26 and they said I might have cough for a couple days but it has been 4 days and it seems to just get deeper. I have to hold my incisions every time. Any one else have this happen?

    did they give you a breathing treatment thing? I didn't experience any significant cough postop....

    Yeah I had endo tube for anesthesia but this cough is so deep I am bit worried by it.

    Hmmm...I think it'd be a good idea to call your doc in the morning to discuss your symptoms. It may be just a cold or something, but couldn't hurt to discuss it with him/her.
