Quick fills in england

Hiya, I was banded 7 weeks ago, and had my second fill yesterday.

Had 4.5cc in on day of op, then another 0.5cc at first fill and 1cc yesterday, taking me to 6cc in a 10cc band.. To early to tell yet but I'm hoping to be at green zone, mostly because I have a cruise in 3 weeks and don't wanna eat my way through the ship..

Lost 14lb today which is 40% of what I want to loose... All good to date.. X

My question is does the restriction build over a few days or should it be felt straight away?

My experience is that I'll feel restriction right away (the swelling reaction due to the fill) and then that reduces over time. For me, I can get a sense of where I am in terms of fill-effectiveness about two weeks out.

Eat as if you've got perfect restriction/fullness during your cruise and you'll be just fine. In other words, act "as if", and don't test you band to see what you can get away with. You are still early out in terms of post-op, and perhaps still in "bandster hell", but don't let your cruise (or anything, really) keep you from using your band as a tool towards your success.

Have a great holiday.
