What does it feel like ?

I'm not sure, but I bet it's very uncomfortable. Pretty sure it's like a stuffed-to-the-throat feeling.

It took 8 or 9 fills for me to hit the green zone. Be patient, it will come. :)

It is really not a good idea to judge if the band has enough saline in because of what others have on theirs. I only have .5 cc in my 14 cc band and I have lost 83 pounds in a little over 4 months. I keep reading on the boards from people who seem awful anxious to get as much restriction as possible without considering the consequences. You only need enough saline in your band so that you can go 4 to 5 hours without having hunger pains. This does not mean food cravings but real hunger. The tighter the band goes the more trouble you will have eating different foods and make you more susceptible to complications. Remember this is a lifestyle change that if you are going to be successful you will have to live with this change forever. With the exception of carbonated beverages I can eat anything I did before but just in much smaller quantities. The band is just a tool to help and not a magic cure. My advice to everyone would be to be patient and it will work. I personally do not feel some magical restriction. What I feel is that it takes me less to feel full, and if I eat too fast or too big of bites I can feel an uncomfortable lump in my throat which tells me I need to slow down. Remember everyone is different and will require different amounts of fill to reach your green zone. Better to be a little loose than too tight.

Okay thanks! Wow just .5 cc? I currently have 5.5 or 6.0 cc and I can go 3-4 hrs but I'm eating Snacks like almonds or yogurt in between. Today I'm having real heartburn but I think it's the cheese I ate last night . I guess in my head I can have bread and stuff like that

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
