Hello I am searching for any one who has had a slippage. I have had my band for 3 years and took the swallow test and I it had slipped, my doctor took everything out of my band and I am so afraid to eat or gain wieght. I am praying that it will go back in place but would like some input if this will happen.

My band slipped and all fluid was taken out and I am doing fine. Go in periodically to have it rechecked. My family wants me to take it out but I want to get to goal weight. My Doctor left it up to me for removal. How are you doing?

Since my doctor taken all the fluid out I have been trying to watch what I eat and how often. I am so afraid that I will gain what I have lost and I know its all in my mind but when you come so far I don't want to go back to the size I was. I go back to the dr the last week of Sept. He said he hope it will go back into place but I don't understand how it could go into place, if not in place then he will go back in and move up. My family was in shock when I told them and my mother always ask why did I do this only if I just push the plate back, but I love having the band and so glad I done this for me. Are you going to have the fluid put back in?
