I got banded on 7/11, was laparoscopic and closed with glue, the glue is dissolving and scabs are coming off with the glue. Am wanting to be able to get in the pool again, not talking about swimming laps, just being in with the kids.. am thinking since scabs do not appear to be anchored to my skin anymore but rather the glue I should be safe? Thoughts?

I think the standard is 4 weeks after surgery.

four weeks is what i was told as well.

My doc told me as soon as my incisions were healed. I was a bit over two weeks out.

My doc says it depends on if it is a public or private pool.
