Hello there all you fabulous July bandsters. I've not checked in for a while. I've been furiously exercising for my FTT. I had it last Monday the 15th of September. It's very uncomfortable but not too much pain. I still have drains in which are very sore but apart from that after 8 days feeling tired but delighted. Had 3.6kg of skin removed. Had my band deflated from 11cc down to 2cc for surgery. It still swelled so much for 2 days I couldn't drink. My skin was very stretch marked so I wasn't expecting miracles but my new tummy is looking amazing. Being checked tomorrow I'll keep you posted on progress. . It does/did take more out of me than I expected and I'm really physically fit. Now fitting UK size 12. US size 8. From size UK 34 or US 28... I love my band

Hello july bandsters. I was banded July 3rd 13. Did extremely well lost 170 lbs and had a Tummy Tuck in September. Since then things have really gone down hill. I had my band fully deflated as I was having full TT. Vertical as well as horizontal incisions. They re inflated it at 6 wks post TT. But it was agony. My port was practically bursting through horrible painful scars. So I had it deflated some. Which helped but I became starving depressed and gained 21 more lbs. my new tummy is saggy again and I know I'm eating horribly. But can't focus long enough to start to lose again. Any help ideas I'd be so grateful. I'm really unhappy. :-((

I'm still here! I'm down about 85 pounds - been stuck here for several months now, but I'm ready to get going down again! Need to up my activity level, I think, as most days I don't get too many calories. I had a fill about a month ago, and it's still pretty tight, so I mostly only eat Soup. I'd love to hear from @Zingythingy. I've been worried about her ever since her last post. How's everybody else doing?

Has this ever happened to anyone? After eating too much Fiber, a uncomfortable bloating occurs with a pounding heartbeat and feeling faint. It passes after gas passes. It happened twice in 1 1/2 years.

It sometimes happens but I'm not sure it was fiber induced but expelling surely helps. Lol

I found an awesome site with post op compression garments. I did feel a lot of pressure which was good. I had to return my garment because I didn't realize they ran small but the quality was so good i exchanged it for another one. I found it on Paintmesexy.com & I think they are having a sale now for cyber Monday. Do you guys recommend me getting a workout waist cincher/ trainer? I attached a picture of the one I got below.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
