Dr. Gowen Nirmul True Results AZ

Recommended Posts

IH ad Nirmul and he was great. I liked his bedside manner also. He did a great job on me and I was in pain for the first 3 days and then get just keeps getting better. Have now had my first fill - but can't really tell anything has happened. Am still eating just fine. Think I need more of a fill but they don't have me scheduled for another month.

I got my appeal approval in the mail yesterday and I am trying to get on the books for surgery officially and seems everyone at True Results is on vacation! So frustrating! I have waited so long and just want it done already!

I'm having the same issue but when I think about what I used to eat there is a huge difference. I look forward to my second fill as well.

So has the Doctor always required you have someone stay at the surgery center? Was just told today that someone has to stay there with me :(

It's really not that long of a wait, and you can't drive yourself anyway. I was less than three hours walking in to walking out.

Same for me. Not that long. My dad even mentioned how he was surprised how quick and you definitely can't drive. He brought a book to help time go by faster.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
