  6. Best Wishes to all new banders. I am 7 days post and feel great. So glad I did this. I know the harder part comes after I get my first fill but reading the experiences my fellow banders have had will help me keep a forward thinking attitude. I appreciate everyone's honest input. I hate suprises and this clears up any questions I have had. XO

  12. The pillow is a good idea. I keep water on the night table so I can sip after the cough. Also tissues so I can get rid of any mucus. Check on you tomorrow!
  13. Hi YaYa, Walking should help the gas pains. I took Gas-X one time and have been good. I do have a cough as well but thought it may be allergies. Each day gets better and better. I'm 6 days out and feel great! Relax and walk.
  14. Hope you feel better. Popsicles help the throat pain

  21. Bandista and Princess Leah, Thanks so much for getting back to me with terrific advice. This morning I had a Protein shake and life is good. Have a great week!
  22. Yay! Welcome to your new world! Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Your future is bright!
  23. Hello all, I was banded Thursday, 3 days ago. Trying to consume Protein. I am drinking Isopure Green Tea as it is considered a clear liquid. Did anyone drink a smooth Protein Drink like the ones we did before surgery? If I could drink those I know I would be a happy camper. Please let me know, thanks!
  24. What happens to you if you do not fulfill the required protein requirement?

  26. Yes, the EDG was an endoscopy It was mandatory. It should all be fixed now. I am doing well. One problem is it hurts if I cough, sneeze or bend. Time will heal all of that I'm sure.
  27. Hi, yes, I was told I had a hiatal hernia when they performed the EDG. I and my band installed today and the Doctor was to have fixed the hernia too.

  31. Bandista, I am an outpatient so no overnight. I think overnight would be better but gotta do what the Dr orders. I have been following your progress and it seems you are on the right track. I think that we'll all wish we had done this years ago. At least I'm hoping. I look forward to getting off HBP medicine. I'll post my experience after my procedure. Thanks for the good wishes, back to you!
