One more hoop to jum through

I just had my psych eval, and go to the nutritionist on 3/11. After that it is just wait for insurance approval. I'm using Dr. Ferrara in Ft worth, Tx, he seems like a good guy and I have heard good things. I'm getting nervous and going through some doubts, but reading some of the stories here has helped my wrap my head around it. Just wanted to introduce myself and get any words of wisdom from y'all. Not really looking forward to the pre-op diet, but I guess it is what it is.

Awesome! You are definitely getting closer!

I just started the pre-op diet, so I don't really have much to say about it yet.

Good luck finding the new you!

Good luck! My pre-op wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. I'm not saying it was whoo-hoo great, but it was doable, and the shakes I bought from the hospital kept me full and I stayed away from hard situations.

If only we had a crystal ball we would know how this decision would pan out in ten years, but the way I look at it, the risk was still far worth the potential reward =)

Welcome!
