Popcorn is my go-to treat when I want something crunchy and salty. I take regular kernels and put them in a brown paper bag in the microwave. I top it with a tablespoon of real butter - so indulgent and yummy. I read the ingredients on a label of microwave popcorn and I decided that I would rather have the real ingredients and just account for the fat and calories in my planned food for the day.

My NUT told me to wait 3 months before eating it, not sure why, but that was the directive. I eat it whenever I want now, which isn't to often, but it is a nice treat. Some say it's a slider for them, but I find that it keeps me satisfied for several hours, so that is good.

I went almost a yr with out pop corn...mainly because it being salty I knew it would be a trigger food....but I bought a box of them lil 100 cals bags....and I did good.....so now thats one of my lil treats !

My doctor told me not to eat popcorn, pasta and rice. Im jealous of you all.

Popcorn is one of my favorite go to snacks. i don't eat the half popped kernels though. I don't want to risk it! Have never gotten stuck with popcorn in 2 1/2 years.

I can eat popcorn but for me it's a slider meaning I can eat lots of it and never feel full. Movie theater popcorn is going to be horrifically high in fat in calories!
