Stress affecting my Band

Recommended Posts

I was banded on 01/16/13 & everything is going great. I did learn today that becoming stressed made my band feel super tight. I normally am not put in highly stressful situations at work but today was just one of those days:( Just wondering if I'm the only one to experience this when stressed??

Oh yea, my band will let me know when I'm stressed, sometimes before I realized I'm stressing.

Thanks ladies:) It was a first for me. I'm thinking it may not be a bad thing...I used to eat like crazy when I got home after a stressful day. Well not so much today I felt like my band was strangling my stomach. No more stress eating for me???„

Yes, stress affects your band and a good thing to keep in mind when you think of fills. Go slow, my friend. If you're still responding to stress this way when it's time for a fill, be very conservative. It's great that you are very in tune with your body and the stress response. Best of luck to you on your band journey!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
