Put on 0.5kg or 1.1 pounds :(

Maybe I'm overreacting a bit but I understand that I may not lose everyday but at the very least I don't want to gain. Yesterday was first day back at work...I'm still on my 2 weeks post op liquid diet and consumed my normal calories. That is 1 1/2 shakes and a soup for dinner. The weight gain may have been coz I went like 6-8 hours between meals because my job doesn't allow for me to eat when I want. Maybe my body went into starvation mode and thought "better hang on to these calories, she's starving us". Thoughts anyone?

A pound is nothing. Your body can naturally fluctuate 2-3 pounds in a single day.

Don't worry about it and just keep following your doctor's guidelines.

Best wishes

Missy is absolutely correct. If your soup had some sodium in it, could make you have fluid retention.

Like Missy said, follow your Drs orders and maybe stay off the scale until you are done healing.

Good Luck on your journey!

Try not to weigh daily. It will surely drive you crazy. Our bodies fluctuate naturally all the time.
