new pain in my belly

I am 3 months post op and just this week it feels like I have a stitch in my side. It feels like the kind of pain like I ran really really hard but I have not been that kind of active. I am wondering what does a slippage feel like?

I agree, see your doctor. I've had a slip repaired and I didn't remember until I read it here that at one point it felt like I had a stitch in my side. Sorry, can't remember if it was before, during or after -- I just remember telling the doctor that it felt like a stitch in my side.

Try not to stress too much before you get to see the doctor though. I was eight months post op when I had my slip and my doctor and his partner were very perplexed because slips don't usually occur so soon post-op. In fact, I was the earliest slip they have seen in their practice.

wow, thanks Toddy. This is good to know. So I guess slippage is really painful I assume?
