Everyone's fills are different-What is the perfect fill?

I keep reading more and more questions about the fills and I'm in the same boat..What is the perfect fill?

I am on fill #3 and I'm up to 3.0cc. My doctor only likes doing his fills under the Flo and I'm so glad:D

I can watch how slow or fast the drink stuff goes through the band. My 2nd fill was 2.6cc and I thought for sure it was my magic spot but it only lasted 10 days and it was like I woke up and it was gone:eek:

Don't get me wrong I had some restriction but I only really noticed it when I ate fast or something was to dry-(Pork.)

I was for sure I had a leak.

Yesterday I had my fill #3 and he pulled out 2.5cc. That made me feel so much better, since on my 2nd fill he only pulled out .75cc.

I still don't remember what he said the other .75 cc went?

I was just in shock... :P :P :D

This is how my doctor explained the fact some of us might need a small tweak more often. We have fat. We have fat around where they put our band and as we lose weight that fat will go away. So we will need to have the Fluid in the band taken out and then put back in to be tight again.

:P Like a balloon that has been blown up and sat around for a month. It gets loose but if you untie it-take out the air and blow it back up it is like new again-TIGHT!

I understand now!

I guess if you have not had a fill-I strongly recommend you ask your doctor to do it under the flo so you can see...

My doctor charges $60.00 for in office fills and to do it in the Hospital under flo is $180.00. TOTALLY worth the $$$.

I know there are lots of you on here that get fills in the office and that might be why you are only getting .5cc at a time.

They don't want to over fill you!!!

I have not been losing much weight since my 2nd fill. I have really been fighting the scales to just move :huytsao

I am losing inches :D I started out in a size 26 pants and I'm buying 20-22 now!

I know after Christmas I had a hard time getting back on track. Everytime I turned around I found more chocolate to eat:cry

Then next was Valentines day:cry But I am back on track finally:) I have lost 2 pounds last week and now with this new fill I hope to get the scales moving again..200 here I come!

So I hope this helps someone...

Take care
