I started mushies after a one week liquid diet. To sum it up, although I enjoyed eating real food...my body just couldn't seem to tolerate the food...my surgeon told me to go back on liquids for one more week...oddly, I was relieved. I think I just need more healing time, does this sound abnormal?

I had to do full liquids for 30 days, so no.

I was on liquids 2 wks prior and 3 weeks post op...so the fact you cannot tolerate food sounds normal to me and I believe your dr knows best.

I would always get a pain in my upper left chest when I would eat soft food...dr wants me to have upper GI in a week if pain continues
