Just checking in. How are things?

Hi Dionalyne! I was banded on 12/20 as well. Got my first fill on 1/11 and my next one is next week. I'm curious about how much food you can eat. I keep hearing about how your only supposed to eat half a cup but I can eat much more than that :( maybe that will come after the 4th or 5th fill but right now my weight is at a stand still in fact I've gained the last 2 weeks. I do seem to stay full longer so that's good but still. How much have you lost? Since my pre-op diet until now I have lost 37.

Wow you are doing great! I have only lost 32 and I'm not feeling restriction like I did the few weeks after surgery. I've been eyeballing portion sizes and I think I'm eating too much. So the last two weeks my weight has been at a stand still. I'm going back to precise measuring. I'm not blaming anyone but myself, but I lost my job on jan 17, so the stress of finding a new job has been a huge distraction and I haven't been as careful. I feel best when I'm very cautious about portion sizes to the oz. cause I I eat much more I don't regurgitate or vomit I am in a state of pain that lasts sometimes a couple days.

Keep up the good work!

Diona

Don't say only 32! That's something to be proud of :) Anyway, thanks for your response. Would like to keep in touch. When is your next fill? They only put in 2 cc on my first one. So sorry that you lost your job, hope you find something real soon.
