So finally getting your first fill?! Whoo-hoo and the journey begins! Fills are pretty simple really, don't take long at all. My doc gives me a numbing shot first over the port, you feel a prick with that. Then he feels for the port area, sticks the needle in (you don't feel that) and presto, done. I drink some water he hands me so we can make sure it goes down fine, and then I'm on my way. Prob 20 minutes tops including the questions on how I'm doing. No worries!!

Over in seconds, didn't receive any pain or discomfort. Really, a painless ordeal which amounts to nothing and no issues. The docotr makes me drink water to see ifI have any issues. Then I'm sent home. Please don't worry about the fills.
