I am from Tn. I have tencare bluecare. I cant seem to find out any info on if they will pay for the lap band surgery. I go to a seminar with Dr woodman next monday. I called the office and they told me that they think bluecare will cover it but I have to go to the seminar first to find out for sure. I dont want to go and set there about 1 hour & 1/2 to find out that it dont pay for it.

If anyone knows would you happen to know the guildlines for them to pay?

I second this. I have bcbs of il and they were so helpful. They explained it to me and showed me where i could find it online. It is covered for me

_{I did call friday and really had no luck. I have been calling all morning. I finally called the prior authorization number, they said yes it would pay but did not know the guildlines for it to pay. They told me that the dr would know and that the dr that I am going to is on their list of Dr.s.}
