4 Years Post Band - Can't Sleep On Port Side W/o Getting Lightheaded

I know I need to see my doctor on this, but just checking to see if anyone else has this happen. When I sleep in certain positions and pressure is put on my port site, I get a wierd feeling, kind of like a short of breath, lightheaded feeling. If I fall asleep that way, I wake up even more short of breath and very tired. I've had a sleep apnea test- negative. I've only gained about 5 pounds from my lowest weight which I know has to GO! My band is empty. Again, I know I have to see the doctor but just wanted some feedback if anyone else was in this boat.
p.s. self pay, so I'm always reluctant to go in. I had my band replaced a year after getting it because of a major slip where most of my stomach slipped above the band... miserable time! Doesn't feel anything like that, though.
