It hasnt always been easy...at the begining I couldnt walk to check my mail with out huffing...and I would of never thought of getting down on the floor to do exercizes....now I can easily walk 3 miles..I use a stationary bike and do floor exersizes.

Thank you all who share your stories be they good or bad...they all help me...and I want to thank my sister who keeps me pushing....Its been a great year...I have 49 lbs to be at goal...so still walking...

:D yea!!! I am all smiles for you. Congratulations on a job well done reaching such an important milestone. I had the same opportunity as you but I let mine go to waist, and although it isn't too late to start over I am very dissappointed with myself. On July 12th, I made my year. I started at 304 pounds. In February of this year I had got down to 266.6 pounds. However, I was unable to hold on to that loss. I slowly gained the pounds that I had loss back. Now I am up to 287. I am ashamed and very dissappointed in my self.

There is no excuse, I just started back eating the things that got me in this situation in the first place.

My insurance is out of the picture right now so I can't go get an adjustment. I need to know from you what you did to get back on track at those points in time when you got off track.

Well this was six months ago and I'm sad to say that I haven't made any significant changes. I don't know what is wrong with me or what's really going on but I do know that something has got to change because I didn't have this lapband surgery for nothing. Woe is me. Hope you are doing well though.

Success, I also had gotten back into bad habits. Last year I had some plastic surgery and had All of my fill taken out before surgery because I was scared I wouldn't be able to eat enough to heal correctly or I'd vomit and hurt my incisions. BIG BIG MISTAKE. I quickly found out I could eat foods I hadn't eaten in 4 years. I had to start gradually getting fills but bad habits stuck. I regained 20lbs quickly. I just had my last full last week and am just now back in the green zone. This thing is a TOOL. Use it like that but you have to stay on track with the foods to stay away from. You invested in this tool so don't let it go to waste. I sure dont know your finances but I would recommend a fill and a recommitment soon. I'm so glad I went back last week and I've already lost 9lbs. You can do this!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
